Tido Willms

B.Sc. Biophysics (HU Berlin), Master student

I am a Biophysics student at the Humboldt University and joined the Klotzsch lab to write my master’s thesis, which aims to enlighten the metabolism of T-cells during their activation and expansion. This project is part of research about novel cancer immune therapies, where patients derived immune cells are used to fight cancerogenic cells. In this context the metabolism has fundamental contributions of how the T cells can fight tumor cells. Therefore, my project aims to deepen the understanding of the associated/related metabolic processes.
In my free time I like to do many kinds of sports, individually, or team sports such as Beach volleyball.
