I am a postdoctoral research associate who joined the lab of Prof. Enrico Klotzsch in 2023. I have previously obtained my PhD in neuroscience at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology working on developmental neurobiology and gene/cell therapy. I subsequently joined the UK Dementia Research Institute at UCL as a postdoctoral researcher where I have become especially interested in neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation. To delve deeper into the field of immunology, I have joined the Klotzsch lab to explore the mechanisms and underpinnings of mechanical B lymphocyte activation. Simultaneously, I am investigating if and how such phenomena could be involved in neurodegenerative disorders.
