Hasan Simsek receives support from Carl Friedrich von Siemens Stiftung and Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung for his third year in the Mechanobiology lab of Professor Klotzsch
We are thrilled about receiving funding for Hasan to continue working on his projects. It will allow him to conclude his research elucidating the influence of fluid pressure and other mechanobiological effects on T cell activation. To understand the sensation of fluid pressure through mechanosensors such as Piezo1 are regulated, will help improving potential applications towards translational medicine, i.e. CAR-T cell therapies.
